Makkabim-Re'ut
MAKKABIM-RE'UT (Heb. מַכַּבִּים־רְעוּת), urban community in central Israel, midway between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. It received municipal council status in 1990. In 2002 its population was 10,700, occupying an area of 1.4 sq. mi. (3.5 sq. km.). In 2003 its municipality was united with that of the nearby city of *Modi'in.
