Congress & the Middle East: S.R. 176

On the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the Six-Day War, June 5, 2017, the U.S. Senate unanimously approved S.R. 176, a resolution commemorating the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem. The bill contains language encouraging President Trump to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and abide by the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Relocation Act.
