Iron Dome Supplemental Appropriations Act (HR 5323)

On September 23, 2021, the House of Representatives voted 420-9 to pass the Iron Dome Supplemental Appropriations Act, which, if approved by the Senate and signed by the president, will send an additional $1 billion in funding for Israel’s missile defense system to replenish the stock of rockets used during Operation Guardian of the Walls. Representatives Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Cori Bush (D-MO), Andre Carson (D-IN), Marie Newman (D-IL), Jesus Garcia (D-IL), and Raul Grivalva (D-AZ) — and one Republican, Representative Tom Massie of Kentucky, voted against the bill.
