On April 25, 2016, a letter was published written in March by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and Democrat Senator Chris Coons, urging President Barack Obama to quickly conclude a Memorandum of Understanding with Israel on a new defense aid package. The current MOU, which the next agreement will replace, expires in 2018 and gaurentees Israel $3 billion in aid each year. To read the letter, signed by eighty-three Senators, please click here.
