IAF Graduates First Female Fighter Pilot
For the first time in the Israeli Air Force's 53 years, a woman graduated as a fighter pilot.On June 29, 2001, Lt. Roni Zuckerman became the fourth woman to complete the IAF's pilot course and the first to reach the status of fighter pilot. The first woman to enter the IAF was Alice Miller, whose 1997 lawsuit paved the way for Zuckerman.
