A poll conducted by the Statistics Lebanon Ltd. Company showed the 72% of Lebanon's citizens are in favor of disarming Palestinians living in Lebanon. In addition, 54% are favor in ousting pro-Syrian President Emile Lahoud from power. A little over half the country believes that Lebanon's government is on the right track in its policies. The poll also reveals that 55% of the citizens polled want the disarmament of Hizballah under United Nations Security Council Resolution 1559.
