Six-Day War: Knesset Commemoration Following Victory

On June 12, 1967, the Israeli Knesset gathered following the conclusion of the Six-Day War to commemorate their lost countrymen and congratulate themselves on an unnexpected victory. Prime Minister Eshkol addressed the Knesset, giving a brief recount of the events of the previous week and once again outlining the fact that Israel had no choice but to defend herself.
