Liberating Buchenwald

The following photographs from the liberation of Buchenwald were taken by Francis D. Killin, who served in the 37th Cavalry Recon. V-Corps under Gen. Courtney Hodges. They were generously donated to the Library by his son. Killin is the GI on the left in the photo above.
