Jewish Members of the 119th Congress
(2025 - 2027)
Although Jews make up just 2% of the U.S. population, nearly 6.5% of the new Congress is Jewish, with 34 Jews among the total of 535 lawmakers. In the Senate, the 10 Jewish members comprise 10% of that body; 24 Jews comprise nearly 6% of the House.
9 Jews in the Senate are Democrats, and the 10th, Bernie Sanders, is an Independent. In the House, all but three members are Democrats. The Republican exceptions are Max Miller (R-OH), David Kustoff (R-TN), and Craig Goldman (R-TX).
Should Florida State Senator Randy Fine (R-FL) win a special election in April 2025, the number of Jews in the House would increase to 25.
