Goldstein Thanks Eisenhower For Letter On Anniversary of Liberation

(April 29, 1955)

President Eisenhower sent a letter to Dr. Israel Goldstein, President of the American Jewish Congress, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camps. Eisenhower did not attend the meeting held in New York, but his message was read to those who did. Goldstein wrote back on April 29, 1955, expressing his appreciation.
