Weizmann Shiri is an Israeli politician and former member of the Knesset.
A resident of the southern town of Omer, Shiri served as Chairman of the Negev Region of Israel Labor Party and was elected to the Knesset in 1999. He served as a member of the Knesset House, Finance, Economics, and Internal Affairs and Environment Committees. He also served as Chairman of the Joint Committee for the Defense Budget.
Shiri was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense in August 2002 and maintained this position for three months, until his party's withdrawal from the coalition.
Shiri remained in the Knesset until the expiration of his term in 2003. In January 2006, he re-entered the Knesset by replacing Shimon Peres, and served until the expiration of the Knesset's term in April 2006.
He is married, with three children.
