Truman Told Not To Support Pro-Zionist American Christian Palestine Committee

Acting Secretary of State George Grew tells President Truman that tensions in the Near East would increase if he expressed support for the pro-Zionist policy advocated by the American Christian Palestine Committee, which called for creating a Jewish state in Palestine and ending restrictions on Jewish immigration to Palestine.
