State Department cable regarding “a special appeal to the Israeli public opinion” calling for peace and coexistence between Israel and Palestinians, based on a two-state solution, security for Palestinians and Israel, and negotiations with the PLO. The leaflet, issued in Hebrew and English, was conceived of several weeks ago in contacts between pro-Fatah Palestinians and Israeli peace activists.
