The Kings of Israel
The three original kings of Israel were Saul,
David and Solomon.
After the death of Solomon, the ten northern tribes revolted and established
the kingdom of Israel in the north. The remaining tribes remained loyal
to the son of Solomon and formed the Kingdom
of Judah in the south.
