U.S. and Israeli Air Forces Conduct Aerial Drills

(March 4-6, 2025)

On March 4, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) conducted a Bomber Task Force Mission in the Middle East, strengthening partner interoperability and demonstrating force projection capabilities in the region. During the mission, a B-52H Stratofortress from RAF Fairford, UK, flew across Europe and into the CENTCOM area of responsibility. The mission included aerial refueling and training opportunities with partner nations.

Israeli F-35i and F-15i aircraft flew alongside the B-52 strategic bomber. During the flight, the forces practiced operational coordination between the two militaries to enhance their ability to address various regional threats.

The cooperation between the IDF and CENTCOM reflects the strategic alliance that continues to develop and strengthen between the militaries over time. The exercise was viewed as a warning to Iran that U.S. and Israeli forces may be planning a joint attack on its nuclear facilities.
