Stas Misezhnikov
(1969-)
Stas Misezhnikov was born in Moscow, U.S.S.R. in 1969 and immigrated to Israel in 1982. He holds an B.A. in Social and Political Sciences from Tel Aviv University (1992) and am M.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from Tel Aviv University (2000).
Misezhnikov served as a Parliamentary Aide in the Knesset (1997-1999), as Marketing Manager of the Clalit Health Services (1999-2006) and as a member of the Rishon Letzion Local Council (2003-2006).
Elected to the Knesset in 2006, he has served as a member of the Knesset Finance, Economic Affairs, and Foreign Workers Committees, also chairing the Finance Committee. An active lobbyist, he chaired the Municipal Lobby and the Lobby for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses.
In 2013 Misezhnikov was appointed Minister of Tourism.
He is married and the father of three children.
