Salome

(c. 1st Century BCE)

Salome was the daughter of Cypros and Antipater. She is known mainly for severing the relationship between King Herod and Mariamne, his second wife. With the help of her mother, Cypros, Salome was able to separate them. Because of this, Salome inherited a large part of Herod's estate when he died.
