Report of Two Million Jews Slaughtered

Unimpeachable evidence has now come in based from many different sources confirming that the Germans have already proceeded far in their diabolical object of exterminating the seven million Jews on the continent of Europe

Ghastly details of mass murder and large-scale slaughter of Jews, men, women, and little[?[ children, have now been confirmed by [unreadable] information received by a number of the Allied Governments, revealing that the most terrible massacre which has ever been perpetrated on any people at any period of recorded time is now being enacted upon European Jewry. According to a United States Government statement, over two million Jews, men, women, and children, have already been murdered under the most revolting conditions. The Germans are now proceeding with their avowed intention of wiping out every one of the remaining five million Jews in the various countries under their control.

The civilized world has been appalled by the unbelievable magnitude of this bloodbath. Leaders of all the Christian Churches have called for every effort to stem, if possible, this terrible tragedy. The Chief Rabbi, supported by all Jewish ecclesiastical and lay authorities, has ordained a solemn day of fasting and prayer on Sunday, and a week of mourning to express Anglo-Jewry’s heartfelt grief at the suffering of their brethren on the continent and to pray for divine intervention on their behalf.
