Museums in Jerusalem: Ammunition Hill National Memorial
The Ammunition Hill National Memorial offers guided tours and history lessons about the Battle of Ammunition Hill. Visitors can see original trenches and bunkers, visit the Wall of Honor, and enjoy presentations about the Six-Day War. It was declared a national memorial site in 1987, and the main festivities on Jerusalem Day take place at the site. Approximately 200,000 people visit the Ammunition Hill National Memorial annually.
