List of Palestinian Terrorists Wanted by Israel
The following is a full list of the names of 48 Palestinian terrorists that have carried out terrorist attacks against Israel. This list has been submitted to the CIA. This list was passed on to the Palestinian Authority three months ago, and was published in the Yediot Achronot newspaper on January 3, 2002. Most of the terrorists on the list are still at large. Since receiving the list, the Palestinian Authority has only arrested three of these terrorists. The names of the terrorists follow. Click here for the current status of the most wanted terrorists.
1. Iman Halawah – a resident of Nablus, and is a member of the Hamas, and is responsible for the bombing of the Dolphinarium nightclub in Tel Aviv, which resulted in the deaths of 23 people. (Deceased.)
2. Ali Saadi Safouri – a resident of Jenin, and is a member of Islamic Jihad, and is responsible for shooting attacks on the Jordan Valley road, resulting in two deaths.
3. Nasim Abu-Rous - a resident of Nablus. Abo-Rous is a member of Hamas, and is responsible for the bombing of the Dolphinarium nightclub. He is also involved in the planning of other terrorist attacks.
4. Jasrou Samaria – a resident of Nablus and is a member of the Hamas. He is responsible for the bombing of the Dolphinarium nightclub. He is also involved in the planning of other terrorist attacks.
5. Hisham Sharbati – a resident of Hebron. Shirbati is a member of Hamas, and is an expert bomb maker. He is involved in the planning of large-scale terrorist attacks against Israeli targets.
6. Said Irbid – a resident of Gaza. He is a member of the Hamas, and is involved in the planning of large-scale terrorist attacks. He was killed in a clash with Israeli forces.
7. Mohammed Deif – a resident of the Khan Yunis refugee camp. Deif is the Commander of the Az-Adin-Al-Qasam Brigades, and was involved in a number of large-scale terrorist attacks, resulting in the deaths of many Israelis.
8. Salah Shehada – a resident of Beit Hanoun. Shehada is a commander of the military wing of the Hamas organization. He is directly involved in the planning and execution of numerous terrorist attacks. Assassinated - July 22, 2002.
9. Kayes Adwan Abu Jabel – a resident of Jenin. Abu Jabel is a member of the Hamas, and is responsible for the bombing of the Sbarro pizzeria in Jerusalem, resulting in 15 deaths. He has also been involved in other lethal attacks.
10. Thabet Mardawi – a resident of Araba. Mardawi is a member of Islamic Jihad, and has been involved in the planning and execution of many terrorist attacks, including the shooting at Kibbutz Shluchot, resulting in the death of one of the Kibbutz residents. Captured.
11. Mohammed Khalili – a resident of Jenin. Khalili is a member of the Hamas, and was involved in the execution of terrorist attacks, as well as the planning of suicide bombings.
12. Mahmoud Touwalji – a resident of Jenin. A military commander of the Islamic Jihad in Samaria, and responsible for the bombings in Binyamina and Kiryat Motzkin, resulting in six deaths.
13. Ihad Abu Roulema – a resident of Ramallah. Abu Roulema is the military commander of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. He was responsible for dispatching the terrorists to assassinate Minister Rehavam Zeevi, and has been involved in other terrorist attacks.
14. Mohammed Sanawer – a resident of Khan Yunis. Sanawer is a member of the Hamas, and in recent months, has been responsible for many terrorist attacks, including assisting in the infiltration of terrorists, shootings and the firing of mortar bombs.
15. Abed el-Halim Hija – a resident of Araba. He is a member of the Islamic Jihad, and was responsible for the terrorist attack in Hadera, resulting in 45 wounded.
16. Nassar Nizal – a resident of Kalkilya. Nizal is a member of the Hamas organization, and is responsible for the bombing of the Dolphinarium nightclub, as well as the terrorist attack in Neve Yamin which resulted in two deaths.
17. Raed Karmi – a resident of Tulkarm, a member of the Tanzim organization and responsible for many shooting attacks in the Tulkarm district. He killed two restaurateurs from Tel Aviv. (Deceased.)
18. Abadallah Jamal – a resident of Beit Rima, and a Jordanian citizen. Jamal is a member of the Hamas, and is responsible for sending the suicide bomber to the Sbarro pizzeria in Jerusalem.
19. Muhmad Diria – a resident of Ramallah. Diria is a member of the Force 17 organization, and responsible for numerous shooting attacks, resulting in the deaths of a number of Israelis.
20. Nafez Sabin – a resident of Gaza. Sabin is a member of the Hamas organization, and was involved in a series of terrorist attacks and suicide bombings, resulting in the deaths of many Israelis.
21. Abbas Said – a resident of Tulkarm. He is head of the Hamas infrastructure in Tulkarm, and is responsible for the terrorist attack at the Sharon mall, resulting in the deaths of five people.
22. Mahmoud Kalibi – a resident of Araba. Qalivi is a member of the Islamic Jihad, and was involved in the planning and execution of terrorist attacks.
23. Yehia Daramshe – a resident of the Dehaishe refugee camp. Daramshe is a member of the Tanzim organization, and is responsible for dozens of terrorist bombings in the Bethlehem area.
24. Bilal Bargouti – a resident of Beit Rima. Bargouti is a member of the Hamas organization, and worked with Abdullah Jamal. He is responsible for many terrorist attacks, and the smuggling of explosives. Captured.
25. Atef Abayat – a resident of Bethlehem. Abayat is a member of the Tanzim organization, and responsible for the planning and execution of deadly terrorist attacks in the Bethlehem area. (Deceased.)
26. Ihid Bashiti – a resident of Rafiah. Bashiti is a member of the Hamas organization, and in recent months, has been responsible for the planning and execution of terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings.
27. Adnan Al-Roul – a resident of Gaza. Al-Roul is a member of Hamas, and has been involved in the preparation of explosive devices. He is presently involved in the production of weapons in Gaza, including explosives and mortar shells.
28. Nidal Kalek – a resident of Tulkarm. He is a member of the Hamas organization, and was involved in a number of terrorist attacks, and the planning of suicide bombings.
29. Ahmed Abu-Taha – a resident of Ramallah, and a member of the Hamas organization. He was responsible for the attempt to carry out car bombings in the Jerusalem neighborhoods of Pisgat Ze’ev, and Nevi’im Street. Captured
30. Taher Natar – a resident of Asira A-Smalia. He is a member of the Hamas organization, and was involved in the execution of terrorist attacks and attempted to carry out a suicide bombing.
31. Imad Sharif – a resident of Bitounia. Sharif is a member of the Hamas organization, and is responsible for the attempt to carry out car bombings in the Jerusalem neighborhoods of Pisgat Ze’ev and Nevi’im Street, resulting in 14 wounded.
32. Riyad al-Amour – a resident of Bethlehem. He is a member of the Tanzim organization, and is responsible for dozens of shooting attacks, including the attack at the Tekoa Junction.
33. Mahmoud Zenati – a resident of Rafiah, and a member of the Islamic Jihad. Zenati is responsible for planning and perpetrating terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings.
34. Shakar Jabari – a resident of Gaza, and a member of Islamic Jihad. He has been involved in the planning and execution of attacks.
35. Anas Abu Alba – a resident of Kalkilya, and a member of the Hamas organization. He was involved in transporting the suicide bomber to the Dolphinarium nightclub.
36. Khaled Shawish – a resident of the Farah refugee camp, and a member of the Tanzim and Force 17 organizations. He was involved in many terrorist attacks against Israelis in the West Bank.
37. Muhaned Tahar - a resident of Nablus. Tahar is a member of the Hamas organization, and assisted in the execution of suicide bombings, and involved in the planning of other attacks.
38. Bashir Dabush – a resident of Gaza, and a member of the Islamic Jihad. He was responsible for planning and perpetrating terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings and the firing of mortar shells.
39. Riyad Attar - a resident of Rafiah. He is a member of the Hamas organization, and has been responsible for many terrorist attacks, including the infiltration of terrorists, shooting attacks, the firing of mortars and the planting of explosives.
40. Marwan Zaloum – a commander of the Tanzim organization in Hebron, and responsible for shootings and bombings that have taken place in recent months, in the Hebron area.
41. Hisham Dieb – a resident of Gaza, and a member of the Islamic Jihad organization. He was responsible recently for the planning and execution of terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings.
42. Talel Mahishna – a resident of Gaza. A security officer in the preventive security apparatus of the Palestinian Authority. Involved at a high level in weapons production in Gaza, including the production of mortar shells and explosives that have been used by the Hamas organization.
43. Salim Hijah – a resident of Nablus, and a member of the Hamas organization. He assisted in the execution of suicide bombings, and is now involved in the planning of other terrorist attacks.
44. Jemal Abed el-Hijah – a resident of Jenin, and a member of the Hamas. He was involved in the planning and execution of large-scale terrorist attacks, and is presently involved in planning other attacks.
45. Imad Mardi – a resident of El-Bireh. He is a member of the Arab Liberation Front, sponsored by Iraq. He was involved in the planning and execution of terrorist attacks, and the smuggling of arms to terrorists in Samaria.
46. Hattem Jemal –a resident of Hebron, and a member of the Tanzim organization. He is responsible for shooting attacks and planting explosives that have been carried out in recent months, in the Hebron area.
47. Jemal Abu Semahdana – Head of the Popular Resistance Committee in Rafiah, he has been involved recently in the planning and execution of attacks, including suicide bombings.
48. Nabil Shariri – a member of the Islamic Jihad, and has been involved recently in the planning and execution of attacks, including suicide bombings. He was responsible for the terrorist attack in Dehania.
