Sa’eed Siyam

Sa'eed Siyam is a leading Hamas spokesman and assumed to be the organization's third most senior figure in the Gaza Strip. A teacher and former protege of assassinated leader Abd al-Aziz Rantisi, he became a spokesman in early 2004. According to the Israeli daily Ha'aretz, Siyam has been put in charge of contacts between Hamas and other political groups in Gaza, including Fatah and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
