Last month, President Obama asked Congress to approve a resolution (AUMF) specifically authorizing the use of military force against ISIS. This new authorization would be limited to three years in length, repeal the 2002 Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq, and prohibit the “use of the United States Armed Forces in enduring offensive ground combat operations.” Should Congress approve this resolution?
