The Third Way
The Third Way (Derech Hashishit) was a
centrist movement that split from the Labor
Party. The Third Way expresses concern about returning the Golan
Heights to Syria and to the Oslo
process with the Palestinians.
The party was led by Avigdor
Kahalani, a hero of the 1973
war, and was formed in response to concessions made in peace
talks by the Rabin-Peres governments.
