Israel Political Parties: Gahal

Gahal (Acronym for Gush Herut-Liberalim, Freedom-liberal block) is a right-wing party formed in 1965 by members of Herut and the Liberal party. During the 1967 war, Gahal joined the National Unity government. Gahal was absorbed into the Likud in 1973.
