Twenty-three ex-officials of the Breendonck concentration camp were tried by a Belgian court from the 6th March 1946 to the 7th May 1946, twenty-two defendants were found guilty, Seventeen were sentenced to death, two in Absentia. One was acquitted and the remainder were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment.
