Nazi War Crimes Trials: Riga Trial

(January 26- February 3, 1946)

A group of ex-officials of the Riga military district were arraigned before a Soviet military court, from January 26, 1946, to February 3, 1946. All were found guilty and sentenced to death, Including the chief of police Ostland, Friedrich Jeckeln. They were all hanged at Riga on the 3rd February 1946.
