Great Britian & the Holocaust: Appeal to Hitler to End Persecution Before Berlin Olympics

(May 27, 1935)

Letter from the Archbishop of York to the British Olympic Association asking that the group appeal to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler that he inaugurate the 1936 Berlin Olympics by declaring amnesty for all persons imprisoned for religious or racial reasons in Germany.

Also includes a letter from the Archbishop to the Yacht Racing Association asking it to support his appeal.
