The Midianites
The son of Abraham and Keturah,
Midian began a nomadic tribe which wandered the banks of the Red Sea as
well as the Syrian desert. The Midianites had a close relationship with
the Jewish people. For example, when Moses fled from Pharaoh, he went to the Midians and married Tzipporah, the daughter
of a Medianite priest.
