An ancient Egyptian amulet bearing the name of Egyptian Pharaoh Thutmose III was found in Jerusalem in April 2016 by Neshama Spielman, a 12-year old Israeli girl. The Spielman family had been participating in the Temple Mount Sifting Project when the young girl made the discovery. The amulet dates back more than 3,200 years according to experts at the Israeli Antiquities Authority. The Temple Mount Sifting Project was founded in 2004, and over 170,000 individuals have since volunteered to help uncover the Temple Mount's storied history.
