Nazi War Crimes Trials: Treblinka Trial

(October 1964 - August 1965)

A group of ex-officials of the Treblinka extermination camp including the camp commandant Kurt Franz were arraigned before a West German court, from October 12, 1964 to August 24, 1965. One died during the trial, and another acquitted. Eight were found guilty and sentenced to various terms of imprisonment.
