Pre-trip
Programming:
All high school students are required to enroll in a
pre-trip educational program on Israel.
This course is offered at the Cincinnati Reform Jewish High School,
Mercaz, RITTS, and the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.
The course at the federation is only for those students not
affiliated with the latter three institutions. We also encourage all
participants to take the Virtual Israel tour by clicking either the Take
the Tour or On Your Own button to the
left.
Post- trip
Programming:
All students are required to fill out a baseline survey
for the next ten years after their trip. This survey is to track the
student’s involvement in Jewish Life. JESNA institute will evaluate these surveys. High school
students are strongly encouraged to attend a post-trip reunion as well as
to volunteer at least once in the local community. Volunteer opportunities
are as follows: Teen Council, Cedar Village, Religious Schools, One Candle
for Tzedakah, Yom Hazikron, Yom Ha’atzmut, and other community wide
events.
We also encourage you to continue to
use the Virtual Israel Experience and the Jewish
Virtual Library to learn more about Israel and Jewish
history and culture. To learn about other Israel
programs for future visits, jobs
& internships and ways to get
involved in the Jewish community, click on the
