FRONTO, MARCUS CORNELIUS° (c. 100–175), Roman rhetorician. Addressing his former pupil, Marcus *Aurelius, he refers to numerous casualties (not recorded elsewhere) inflicted on Roman armies by the Jews during Hadrian's reign.
