Marc Lincoln Marks

Marc Lincoln Marks is a Jewish American politician who served in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Marks (born February 12, 1927) was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania and graduated from Sharon (Pa.) High School in 1945. He recieved his B.A. from the University of Alabama in 1951 and earned his LL.B. from the University of Virginia in 1954. Marks served in United States Army Air Corps from 1945-1946.
In November 1976, Marks was elected as a Republican to represent Pennsylvania's 24th district in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was subsequently re-elected twice and served until January 1983. Marks was not a candidate for reelection in 1982.
In 1994, President Bill Clinton nominated Marks as Commissioner of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission.
