David A. Levy

(1953 - )

David A. Levy is a Jewish American politician and former member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Levy (born December 18, 1953) was born in Johnson County, Indiana. He graduated from Hofstra University in 1973 and received his J.D. from Hofstra's Law School in 1979. Levy was admitted to the bar in 1980 and commenced the practice of law. He also worked as a utility company executive.

From 1989 to 1993, Levy was a member of the Hempstead (New York) town council.

In 1993, Levy was elected as a Republican to the U.S. House of Representatives. He was an unsuccessful candidate for renomination in 1995.
