Meshulam Nahari

(1951- )


Meshulam Nahari was born in Israel in 1951. He was ordained as a rabbi at Yeshivat Hebron and holds a B.A. from the Lifschitz Teacher's College.

Nahari was first elected to the Knesset in 1999 and served as Deputy Minister of Education from August 1999 until July 2000. He served on the Knesset, State Control, Constitution, Law and Justice, and Education and Culture Committees.

In March 2001, Meshulam Nahari was appointed Deputy Minister of Education.

In May 2006 Meshulam Nahari was appointed Minister without Portfolio.

He is married and has five children.
