Harry Danning

(1911 - 2004)

Harry Danning was an all-star Major League baseball catcher. He grew up in Los Angeles, and was selected by the New York Giants. He was part of the squad that defeated the pennant-winning Washington Senators in 1933. His best years were 1938-1940, where he hit over .300 and finished top-10 in MVP voting twice.
