David Azoulay

(1954 - )
David Azoulay was born in Morocco
in 1954.
He served in the IDF
and studied at the Beit Harishon L'Zion Talmudic College
and the Chazon Yehezkiel Seminar for teachers.
Azoulay has been a Member of Knesset
since 1996. He has been a member of the Knesset Education
and Culture, Internal Affairs and Environment, Anti-Drug
Abuse, and Ethics Committees.
He previously served as a member of the Akko Municipal
Council and as Head of the Nahal Iron Regional Council.
In May 2001, David Azoulay was appointed Deputy Minister
of Labor and Social Welfare.
He is married and has four children.
