Shaul Amor
(1956 - )Shaul Amor was born in Morocco in 1940 and immigrated to Israel in 1956. A social worker by profession, he completed his education at the Social Work Institute, Haifa. He has been a Member of Knesset since 1988. Positions held in 12th Knesset: Member, Finance Committee; Labour & Social Welfare Committee; Education & Culture Committee. 13th Knesset: Member, Finance Committee; Labour & Social Welfare Committee; Anti-Drug Abuse Committee. Chairman, Development Towns Lobby. Chairman, Social Lobby. 14th Knesset: Member, Labour & Social Welfare Committee; State Control Committee. Shaul Amor also served as mayor of Migdal Haemek until November 1998. He is married and has three children. Shaul Amor was appointed Minister without Portfolio in January 1999.
