Israel, Arabs to Cooperate
During Natural Disasters

During a recent international conference in Italy, Israel and several Arab countries discussed possible ways of cooperating in the event of a natural disaster in the Middle East. Representatives from Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Algeria attended the meeting and discussed possible cooperative efforts in combating potential floods and widespread forest fires. Syria boycotted the meeting.
