Chief Rabbis of Israel

The Chief Rabbis of Israel are the supreme halachic and spiritual leaders of the Jewish people in Israel with legal authority over all Jewish religious arrangements in the country. One rabbi represent the Ashkenazic tradition and the other the Sephardic.
 
The two Chief Rabbis are elected for a term of 10 years.
