Nazi War Crimes Trials: Tilburg Lynching Trial

(June 11-26, 1946)

Eighteen ex-SS officials convicted in Case No.66 (The "Tilburg Lynching" Trial), which was held before a British Military Court at Essen, from June 11-26, 1946. Five were found guilty and were sentenced to death, five were acquitted and released. Those sentenced to death were executed on the September 5, 1947.
