Nazi War Crimes Trials: Stalag Luft III Trial

(July 1 - September 3, 1947)

Eighteen ex-SS officials convicted in Case No.62 (The "Stalag Luft III" Trial), which was held before a British Military Court at Hamburg, from July 1, 1947, to September 3, 1947. All were found guilty, fifteen were sentenced to death, two being subsequently commutted, and the remainder to various terms of imprisonment.
