Nazi War Crimes Trials: Majdanek Trial

(November 22 - December 2, 1944)

A group of six officials of the Majdanek extermination camp were arraigned before a Soviet/Polish Special Criminal Court in Lublin, from Novermber 27, 1944, to December 2, 1944. All were found guilty and sentenced to death. After the verdict, one committed suicide and the other five were hanged on December 3, 1944.
