Nazi War Crimes Trials: Alsace Trial

(April 23 - May 3, 1946)

Eight ex-officials convicted in Case No.13 (The " Alsace" Trial), which was held before a French court at Strasbourg, from April 23, 1946 to May 3, 1946. Six were found guilty and were sentenced to death, one in Absentia, and one was severed from the case. The death sentences were carried out on August 14, 1946.

5) Hugo Grüner : The Death Sentence (Executed on the 14th August 1946)
6) Ludwig Lüger : Acquitted & Released
7) Richard Hüber : The Death Sentence (Sentenced In Absentia)
8) Ludwig Semar : Severed from the Case (Due to Insuficient Evidence)
