Nazi War Crimes Trials: Höss Trial

(March 11-29, 1947)

Former SS Hauptsturmführer Rudolf Höss, commandant of Auschwitz, was convicted in Case No.38 (The "Höss" Trial), which was held before a Polish Special Criminal Court in Crakow, from March 11, 1947, to March 29, 1947. He was found guilty and sentenced to death. Höss was executed on April 16, 1947.
