National Fascist Party Requests Confiscation of Jewish Radio Equipment

Letter sent to the Venice Prefect Marcello Vaccari by the National Fascist Party, Federation of the “Fasci Di Combattimento” signed by the Federal Secretary, Dr. Mario Macola:

Confidential and private letter to request the confiscation of all the radio equipment from the Jews, as already done in other Italian cities.

Venice, April 23, 1941

I would be glad, Excellency, if you would be kind enough to confiscate the radio equipment from the citizens of the Jewish race that live in Venice, as it has been already done in other Italian cities and as it is requested by the public opinion that would strongly support such a measure in order to prevent the reception and the diffusion of news coming from the enemy propaganda.
