Committee Report on the Hussein-McMahon Correspondence

(March 16, 1939)


This is a copy of a report published by a committe set up to consider the correspondence between Sit Henry McMahon (His Majesty’s High Commissioner in Egypt) and The Sharif of Mecca in 1915 and 1916. It was presented by the Secretary of State for the Colonies to Parliament in London by command of His Majesty in March 1939. This report was adopted at the Fourteenth Meeting of the Arab and United Kingdom Delegations to the Conferences on Palestine, which was held on Friday, March 17th, 1939.
